I can highly recommend Shantimitra as a yoga teacher for any level of experience. She is a devoted yogi and shares her knowledge with ease and care. The class is a holistic experience, not a workout. The asanas we perform are very simple but profound and after Yoga Nidra and mantra chanting, the relaxation you feel is blissful.
This is the real deal - classical, integral yoga from India. If you're looking for the Westernized, Lululemon-workout style of yoga, this is not for you.
Since starting the weekly Saturday classes last year I've developed my own daily yoga practice and have seen so many benefits in my life. Thank you Shantimitra!

Shantimitra creates a space filled with peace and joy in her yoga classes. By combining breath with movement, I was able to let go of my thoughts and and achieve mental clarity. The class itself is wonderfully structured and she explains the benefits of the practices. Closinging the class by singing a mantra leaves you full of joy. Shantimitra is also a very inspiring person with a peaceful aura. I am very grateful to know her as a person and also for her knowledge of Yoga.  I haven't encountered another yoga teacher quite like her, and I am immensely thankful for the opportunity to delve into the world of classical yoga through her guidance.

Shantimitra is hands down the best yoga instructor in Berlin, if you're looking for a work-in rather than a work-out. In her yoga classes, you will be able to connect with your inner self and cleanse yourself of negative thoughts and anxiety while embracing relaxation through breathing exercises, wonderful mantra chanting and asanas. It is extremely therapeutic and always the highlight of my week. I have not willingly missed a single week since I started going! Can only recommend
